DEAR FELLOW MILWAUKEAN:
We are proud to announce the grand return of the United States Navy Blue Angels Jet Demonstration Team to the Milwaukee Air & Water Show, now scheduled for June 12th - 13th, 2010.
Each year, the Navy Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds receive thousands of requests from cities and towns across America to perform their stunning aerial maneuvers. Milwaukee will once again be one of the very few cities in the Midwest to be selected, and we are very proud of that!
I'm here to revive the Air Show for Milwaukee, and have now secured both the Navy Blue Angels, Army Golden Knights, and a spectacular lineup of other military and civilian air show performers to thrill the crowds at Milwaukee's lakefront this summer.
In the past, Milwaukee has lost the Air Show due to lack of financial support. Now, for the first time, you can join the Air Show Fan Club as a Citizen Sponsor to help us continue to bring this quality weekend of family fun and excitement to Milwaukee each year.
Unique in our history, the Air & Water Show is now one of Milwaukee's largest free events, and we are working to keep it that way for the long term future.
Join the Air Show Fan Club now and; depending on your membership level, you will be entered to win a vintage airplane ride in one of the air show's airplanes! Lucky fan club winners must be 18 years of age, and will fly in either a North American T-6 Texan or Beechcraft T-34 aircraft.
