After successful tour stops in Milwaukee (at Gran-Aire) and Madison (at Wisconsin Aviation) from May 15-June 2, the Ozark Airlines DC-3 will be appearing at other major airshows and aviation events across America. AIRSHOWS OF WISCONSIN KICKS OFF B-17 MEMPHIS BELLE BARNSTORM TOUR DURING AVIATION HISTORY WEEK IN MADISON, WI

After 14 months of extensive restoration work, the B-17 "Memphis Belle" is back in the air! Making a somewhat miraculous landing during a level five thunderstorm cell at Dane County Regional Airport, pilot Pat Whitehouse and the crew of the Memphis Belle managed to get the aircraft to Aviation History Week, thrilling the crowds in Madison. Robert Morgan, "The Man Who Flew the Memphis Belle," also made a first-time appearance in Madison, delighting the people with his books and stories.
